The Caribbean Rain Forest Aerial Tram is a private reserve of 475 acres, located just 50 minutes from San José, 5 kilometers after the Sucio Río bridge on the road to Braulio Carrillo to the province of Limon. The property shares a 10 Km border with Braulio Carrillo National Park and is a buffer zone between the park land and agricultural production. Upon arrival, visitors are greeted by staff who invite guests to board the exclusive transportation from the reception to the video room in the visitor area. We will have a brief stop to enjoy the panoramic view on the suspension bridge and the Broccoli Tree viewpoint.
After the presentation of a short introductory video, park visitors are guided to the boarding area of the cableway where the main idea is to show visitors the different levels of the forest, from the canopy treetops to the lesser-known parts of the forest, even in the scientific field.
On the trails you can see the heart of the rainforest; where there is a great diversity of species of plants and animals. That’s why the walk through the trails and the ride in the cable car are an excellent combination to know and appreciate the rainforest from the ground to the tops of the trees.
